Errors and charging
- 402: Payment required. The body and headers carry the price and payment terms (x402 v2 and v1). Nothing is charged.
- 400: Missing or invalid input, refused before any work. Not charged ("charged": false).
- 404 / 405: Unknown tool or wrong HTTP method. Not charged.
- 429 / 503 + Retry-After: Busy, rate-limited or at capacity: wait the given seconds and retry. Not charged.
- Any status >= 400 after you sent a payment: The payment is not settled, so you are not charged; the body says "charged": false.
- 202 + result_url: Long service jobs: poll result_url every 30-60 s until status is done or error.
Known issues
- An outside registry (a2aregistry.org) measured low 30-day uptime for our A2A endpoint; we traced most failures to tunnel connection drops and slow answers and are working on fixes (cached agent card, zero-downtime restarts).
- A malformed percent-escape in a URL can show as a Cloudflare 520 instead of our JSON 400.
